Kira & Zac at Wheeler Farm

After many, many complaints and much guilt, i finally got around to posting a real post to this blog! Yay for me! Let's see if anyone notices...
Anyway, Kira is my cousin (she's the blonde) and she's getting married to Zac in less than a week! Obiously, being the slacker that i am, these pictures were taken a while back. But hey, i should have some wedding pictures up soon. And it'll be at the Portland LDS Temple, should be cool.
Kira's obviously beautiful and the two of them were a blast to photograph.
I love shooting at Wheeler Farm, there are so many different places to shoots and each has a different feeling or mood. However, i was a little surprised at the "creek" here, because last time i was here for a shoot the creek was just that, a creek - just a little trickle running through the river rocks. We went out into the middle and shot some great pictures, and i really liked the rock. Imagine my surprise to see it totally full. But the pics still turned out great... Or at least i think so.
I love this effect; instead of simple black and white, it gets a silvery blue effect.
I love the color and texture of these wood shots!

I really like this picture; i think i'm a sucker for these out of focus shots, but i also really like Kira's pose. Go Kira!

I absolutely love this picture! I know, i know, it's a tractor, but i love Kira's pose. Do you like it? Hopefully you do, do you know why? Part of it should have something to do with the shape of her pose - notice an 'S'? Anyway, supposedly it's one of the most pleasing human forms, what do you think?

"You're right, there is something in there. I think it's a sunset."

Anyway, there you have it: my first "real" post. The point was the pictures, but i'll try to make it my own on the way. Also, if all the formatting is screwed up, i'm sorry. I'm still getting used to this blogger interface. i'm used to doing it on my own, but i don't know how to do the comments and all that.

Happy looking.

Alan, you are doing a great job! Where were you when Bill and I needed our Engagements taken! WAY better than our first go round. Our first round was so bad, we had to have a second go round with different photographer.
